Day 1,397: Trump has more tweets flagged by Twitter (5) than events on his public calendar (1)
Donald Trump’s never-ending quest to overturn a fair election via tweet continues, as does his total checking out of the job he is getting paid to do.
Monday, with COVID-19 wreaking havoc across the country, Trump had just one scheduled meeting on his public calendar: lunch with Mike Pence.
Meanwhile, Twitter had to put disclaimers on five of his tweets where Trump baselessly alleged election rigging and voter fraud. Perhaps Trump’s most mocked tweet in some time was him claiming that he won the election despite the fact that he definitely didn’t.
Trump’s schedule these days is limited to playing golf, watching TV and rage-tweeting. There are no thoughts about the Americans infected with the coronavirus (trending up 81% over the past two weeks) or the Americans dying with the coronavirus (trending up 33% over the past two weeks).
Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election and will be inaugurated on January 20, 2021. Tweeting can’t change that.
