Day 987: Forget whistleblowers, Trump is openly begging Ukraine and China to help him investigate political foes

The House of Representative’s impeachment inquiry seems to have broken something in Donald Trump’s brain.

In total panic mode, Trump and his lackeys are throwing everything against the wall and hoping something sticks. Betraying pure desperation, Trump is bypassing the need for whistleblowers and openly begging foreign nations to investigate Joe Biden and his family.

Trump isn’t just mentioning any two countries in the clip above. One is Ukraine, which has caused this mess in the first place. The other is China, a communist country and one of the U.S.’s biggest geopolitical foes that the U.S. is currently engaged in a trade war with.

China is interesting amid reports that Trump has pushed them to investigate Biden previously, in what seems to be the same type conversation Trump had with the Ukrainian president.

One Trump ally outside the White House described receiving a message from Chinese government officials asking if Trump was serious when he suggested China open an investigation into Biden. The response: investigating corruption is an easy way to earn goodwill with Trump.

Trump is foolish enough to think that people will believe that the call for probes has nothing to do with Biden being a political foe.

A U.S. president feels brazen enough to beg foreign nations to investigate rivals for personal gain while standing steps in front of the White House.

If not impeachment for this, then for what?
