An empty Wednesday schedule — complete with just an intelligence briefing and a lunch — allowed him plenty of “executive time” for send angry and delusional tweets.

He started by insulting New York Times columnist Bret Stephens for the second day in a row.

He sarcastically referred to “free and interesting advice” on China while claiming that the U.S. is “doing very well.” He seems to ignore both the fact that he tried giving Barack Obama never-ending suggestions on Twitter before 2017 and that the U.S. is in a trade war with China that is benefiting no one.

He, again, blamed Puerto Rico and hurricanes for existing, while insulting politicians on the ground in the path of the storm. He also managed to remain entirely delusional about himself.

He cried that Fox News wasn’t being sycophantic enough to him and the Republican Party. He’s brazen enough to openly admit that Fox has been and should continue to be “working for us.”

He lambasted the Fed for the nth time, despite the fact that he nominated the chair, Jerome Powell.

A well -sourced Washington Post story indicated that Trump is so desperate to build a southern border wall that he is dangling pardons if anyone gets in trouble. Trump pushed back through ad hominem attacks and shrieking denial about a conspiracy against him.

When he’s not given busy work, Trump sits and watches TV and just tweets out reactions and outrage. This is someone who, in theory, should be busy 24/7/365. There are natural disasters and health care issues, economic concerns and foreign policy considerations, and Trump is busy ranting about how Fox News isn’t nice enough to him.
