Day 943: Trump axes trip to Denmark since they won’t sell Greenland

Of all the moments of Donald Trump’s 31 months in office, one of oddest has to be his sudden desire to buy Greenland, a Danish territory. That infatuation has lead to Trump canceling a planned meeting with Denmark’s prime minister since the territory isn’t for sale.

Again, Trump called off a meeting with a world leader since he couldn’t buy an 800,000 square mile landmass that was never for sale to begin with. The Danish Prime Minister called the push to purchase Greenland “absurd.”

Trump apparently still believes that the world is one big real estate deal waiting to happen. Time and time again he has been proven wrong and failed. Never has that been more ridiculously true than his most recent desired purchase.
