Day 890: Trump yuks it up with Putin about election meddling, silencing journalists

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin met at the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan on Friday. They got along like old pals, laughing about things like Russia meddling in the 2016 election and undermining the U.S.’s democracy, and potentially doing it again in the 2020 election.

Who doesn’t find the humor in “get[ting] rid of” journalists? Because Trump and Putin laughed about that too, even as Russia is known for censoring and even murdering journalists.

As if cozying up to one dictator wasn’t enough, Trump later tweeted a bizarre invitation to Kim Jong-un to meet at the North Korea-South Korea border just for a handshake.

A friendly reminder that if Barack Obama did even one percent of the things when he was in office that Trump does, Republicans and Fox News would be demanding an impeachment and his ouster every second of every day.
