Day 88: Donald Trump’s Easter Sunday: Tweet, Tweet, Tweet, Tweet, Church, Tweet

Donald Trump’s online missives put the fragile nature of his ego back in the forefront of everyone’s mind on Sunday. Sandwiched around a quick trip to church to celebrate Easter, Trump found ample time to tweet nonsense.

(Fact check: Either he has the world’s shortest memory or hopes we do.)

Six minutes later — six! — he tweeted out Easter greetings.

Less than an hour after that, his insecurities about the election and his still unproduced tax returns shone through.

(Fact check: Trump won the Electoral College by about 120,000 votes and lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million. He also promised to release his tax returns many times.)

Then we reached the conspiracy theory-paid protester part of the morning.

A quick pivot to military strategy (and foreshadowing?) soon followed.

(Fact check: The U.S. is currently less involved in military conflicts around the world than at any other point in the last 15 years. The U.S. also already has the largest and strongest military in the world, spending five times more than its closest competitor yearly.)

An evening tweet with a confusing position and the classic “BAD!” on the end wrapped up a colorful day of Easter tweeting.

Crazily, these tweets may have been better than Easters-past.
