Day 874: Trump wants more foreign help for 2020 election

Donald Trump, who famously and falsely claimed for years that Russian interference never happened in the 2016 election, is keen on taking more foreign help in his bid for reelection.

When asked if he would accept aid in the form of dirt on his political opponents if the assistance came from a foreign country, he answered in the affirmative.

Of course, this would potentially indebt a sitting president to a foreign power for a second straight term and cast a gross pall over American democracy yet again. But that is of no concern to Trump, as long as he can keep winning.

When asked about reporting nefariousness to the FBI, Trump incredibly claimed that there are not enough agents to deal with issues as serious as foreign election meddling.

Trump is simply taking the 2016 playbook, that he denied existed for years, and publishing it for the world to see in the run-up to 2020.
