Day 852: He’s in so far over his head, four congresswomen had to treat Ben Carson like he was a preschooler

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson testified before the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday. After nearly two and a half years on the job, Carson revealed he has little to no understanding of the department he has been tasked to run. Before he was tapped by Donald Trump to lead HUD, Carson knew he was unqualified and unfit for any secretary post.

Particularly humiliating for the former brain surgeon during his testimony were four congresswomen who were forced to treat him like a child based on his intellect and temperament.

Maybe he thought it was snack time because he confused standard housing terminology with cookies before trying to guess the meaning of an acronym in the same way a child would sound out spelling of a word.

One representative had to help with the pronunciation of an acronym that he was previously questioned over and still seemed to know nothing about.

He tried passing off any sense of responsibility.

And like a child, Carson wanted to change the rules and threw a temper tantrum when asked basic questions.

Trump’s HUD Secretary thoroughly embarrassed himself Tuesday, just days after the Government Accountability Office determined Carson broke the law by trying to spend exorbitant amounts of money on new office furniture.

Mix incompetence with corruption and you’ll land many places in Washington, including Ben Carson’s office.
