Day 821: Trump plays golf, acts as TV Guide for Fox News programming

The Mueller report seems to have rattled Donald Trump in a way rarely seen before. As a result, he has retreated to his South Florida golf club in an attempt to find a cocoon of comfort, familiarity and sycophancy.

First, he played golf — for the second day in a row — at his property.

Then, desperate to try and turn eyeballs off of the real reporting of the Mueller report — which overwhelmingly shows both obstruction by Trump and collusion by his campaign — he was begging people to watch Fox News after his round.

He tweeted and retweeted eight separate times about Fox News, including some segments that were a week old. Some missives were just clips that made him feel good, like that from an ever-irate and faux-indignant Jeanine Pirro.

Others were embarrassingly just hyping programming, like an advertiser for the network and TV Guide rolled into one.

Whether watching Fox all night made him feel better or not is unknown, but there’s little doubt that Trump is fully aware of how damning the Mueller report is for him.
