Day 751: The only ‘Trump derangement syndrome’ apparently comes from his physicians

Another year, another sketchy physicians’ report from a Donald Trump doctor. Trump had his annual physical on Friday and the report on his health, for the second straight year, is pretty odd.

This year, Dr. Sean Conley, Trump’s physician — apparently forward looking for at least two to six years — concluded Trump would remain in “very good health.”

Such remarks are outside the norm of doctors, who generally remark on the current condition of an individual.

A year ago, many people considered the findings from Trump’s physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, suspicious because Trump conveniently was a notch below “obese.”

Last year, Trump clocked in at 6-foot-3 and 239 pounds. He had a body mass index, or BMI, of 29.9, putting him in the category of being overweight for his height. A BMI of 30 or more is considered obese.

His doctor then said the president was in “excellent health” but would do well to drop 10 to 15 pounds and shift to a low-fat, low-carb diet and take up a more defined exercise routine.

Trump’s weight was not listed in the most recent report.

Reports from physicians in Trump’s past have been clouded in controversy. For instance, Trump’s personal physician allegedly wrote a letter about his health wherein he attested that Trump would be one of the healthiest presidential candidates of all time. Yet it was later revealed that the letter was dictated by Trump himself.

After three years of strange reports, it seems as though no one will ever truly know the truth behind the health of Trump.
