Day 718: Every living former president confirmed Trump lied about border wall claim

Donald Trump laughably claimed last week that past presidents — plural — privately expressed to him they wished they had built a wall along the southern border during the time in office.

To no one’s surprise, they have all refuted Trump’s lie.

Barack Obama has repeatedly spoke out against Trump’s immigration policies and has gone on the record in the past about opposing a border wall.

A spokesman for Mr. Bush told Politico that the 43rd president never talked to Mr. Trump about a border wall. A spokesman for Mr. Clinton also denied it and said the two haven’t spoken since Mr. Trump’s inauguration.

Jimmy Carter is also opposed to the border wall.

Maybe Trump had a séance and channeled past presidents from the grave. But more likely is that Trump just continues to blatantly and unapologetically lie about virtually everything.
