Day 668: Holy hell, look at Trump fumble through talking about California wildfires

Donald Trump is woefully ignorant about far too many things to list. However, his below-passing knowledge is frequently glossed over by the media because there is simply too much to talk about and a new scandal seems to pop up every day.

His understanding of health care, insurance, the economy and foreign relations, just to name a few, is below that of the average high school student.

About national disasters, his knowledge is equally poor.

So hearing him try to discuss the deadly forest fires in California — including how to prevent them — and the long-term climate change questions that comes with them is downright painful. (Just days ago, he was blaming firefighters for the destruction.)

First, Trump nonsensically claimed that he knows how to stop forest fires because he spoke to the president of Finland.

The Finnish president had no idea what Trump was babbling about.

On climate change — something he has frequently stated is a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese — Trump seemed to believe he could personally guarantee “great climate” simply because he wanted it.

Every time Trump opens his mouth, he betrays more ignorance about a variety of topics. Forest fires has been added to the list.
