Day 654: Trump has run out of ideas, resorts to regurgitating old tweets

Donald Trump goes to great lengths to avoid critical thinking. He spends nearly entire days watching cable news and doesn’t take any time needed to have a passive understanding of his policies or the candidates he endorses. He repeats random and false talking points, no matter how often they’ve been debunked or how conspiratorial.

With the nation “falling back” as the clocks changed early Sunday morning, Trump had an extra hour of sleep to recharge his batteries or perform valuable work.

Somehow, he got even lazier.

Seemingly out of new ways to try and fear-monger Republicans to the polls, Trump chose to retweet his own tweets from the past few days.

Nearly two dozen times.

Most of them were the same boring, basic endorsements he’s tossed out a few times. But he also mixed in a racist and misleading video that drew scorn from the left and right.

The midterm elections are on Tuesday.
