Day 618: Trump: Kim Jong-un and I “fell in love”
Donald Trump was in Wheeling, West Virginia for a rally Saturday night. Trump was his typical rambling self: lying when it suited him, boasting about nothings and generally just talking to hear himself talk.
But then things got weird.
Really, really weird.
Trump professed that he really liked murderous North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
Stranger, he also claimed that the two “fell in love” with each other. When the crowd laughed, obviously thinking Trump was being hyperbolic, Trump remained stone-faced and was adamant that he was serious.
An American president professing his love for a ruthless foreign dictator largely because he received a couple of letters and some promises would ordinarily be major news shocking the conscience of many around the world. For Trump, it was an ordinary Saturday evening at a political rally.
