Day 614: World’s Leaders Openly Laugh at Trump

Donald Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly Tuesday morning. He opted for his typical boastful rhetoric about what he claims is the overwhelming success of his administration. Listening to the speech were leaders from around the world, as well as prominent aides and the media. They responded first by laughing. Then they laughed even harder, a reaction that surprised Trump.

The world leaders — in rare near unanimity — were openly howling at the idea that Trump’s presidency has been successful.

In the “there’s a tweet for everything” department, of course there’s a former Trump missive about this exact scenario.

Trump is mocked by the world when bragging about his agenda. Is that his idea of success?
