Day 612: Trump averaging 1 in 3 days at a Trump property, 1 in 4 days at a golf course

Donald Trump’s proclivity for being anywhere but the White House is well documented. But the amount of time he’s actually away from Washington D.C. is staggering. NBC News is keeping track of how often Trump travels to a Trump-branded property and how many times he’s at a golf property, which is vital considering the White House refuses to confirm Trump’s activities. The two frequently overlap as he’s apt to hit the links at his own properties.

With 156 days at a golf property, Trump has spent 25.5% of his days in office digging divots with his 7-iron. He’s also spent 33.2% of his days in office at a Trump-branded property.

All this for a man who campaigned on the idea that he’d “rarely leave the White House” because he’d be working so hard. The main thing he’s working on, apparently, is lowering his golf handicap.
