Day 53: Kellyanne Conway is a Dangerous Joke

Untrustworthy as she may be, the White House keeps using her

Donald Trump’s senior aide and former campaign chair, Kellyanne Conway, has zero regard for the truth.

Her trustworthiness — or lack thereof — has led to her being blacklisted from a number of national talk shows.

She made up a terrorist attack and repeated the lie many times over.

Commenting about Trump’s unfounded allegations of the Obama administration wiretapping, Conway had some pretty crazy theories about microwaves actually being incognito cameras.

When she was asked about Mr Trump’s claims in an interview with USA Today, Ms. Conway suggested the surveillance may have involved far more than wiretapping.

She said: “What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other.

“You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of different ways.”

She claimed surveillance could be conducted with “microwaves that turn into cameras,” and added: “We know this is a fact of modern life.”

We know this is a fact of modern life? That our microwaves are transformers capable of taking photos? On what planet does she live?

The sad thing is that gullible people who want to believe this stuff do believe it, no matter how discredited as she may be.

Many on the right see the press rebuking her as a sign of corruption of the main stream media; they believe her comments about a massacre that never happened; they insist that the Obama administration or the CIA or the judiciary, is out to “get” Donald Trump.

There’s a reason the Trump team keeps throwing her out there for interviews.

She’s a joke, but one serving a purpose in the White House.
