Longtime Donald Trump adviser and one-time campaign ally, Roger Stone, has admitted to communicating with the Russian hacker who infiltrated the DNC.

Unsurprisingly, Stone has called the conversations “innocuous,” which is substantially similar to the words used in describing Michael Flynn and Jeff Sessions’s conversations with Russian ambassadors.

We know that Flynn’s “pleasantries” were a lie: they discussed sanctions.

Sessions denied meeting with Russians at all before the conversations were characterized as “superficial” by the administration.

Campaign manager Paul Manafort resigned because of longstanding Russia ties that were initially downplayed, too.

With decidedly pro-Russia messages and connections, some crazies on the right just can’t help themselves with inane conspiracy theories.
