Three indisputable facts:

  1. Donald Trump swore he wouldn’t take vacations or play golf on his campaign: “If I win I may never see my property — I may never see these places again. But because I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go golfing, believe me. Believe me. Believe me, folks.” At another rally he promised, “I don’t ever think I’d see anything — I just wanna stay in the White House and work my ass off, make great deals, right?”
  2. Good Friday is not a national holiday and is a workday for federal employees.
  3. Trump, on Friday morning, was already at one of his golf courses in South Florida.

The trip marks his 139th day at a Trump property and his 104th day at a golf property, according to an NBCNews accounting. Trump’s jaunt follows a week where he was mostly invisible from the public eye and frantically tried to fill out his legal team.
