It’s not that those stories aren’t important, just that they aren’t the story.

The story is about how Russia has admitted to having contacts with Trump’s team during the campaign. About how zero Republicans in the House think it’s necessary to see Trump’s tax returns for potential conflicts of interest including, among other things, Russia. About how Trump will blast any person, nation or group except the Russians and Vladimir Putin. About how the Russians hacked the U.S. election and Trump benefited. About a foreign nation potentially holding blackmail material over the leader of the free world. About an easing of sanctions that serve to benefit Russia and Russia only. About a national security advisor who was fired for communicating with Russian officials and then lied about the content of those communications to the FBI. About a dossier detailing the Trump-Russia connection that seems to gain credibility by the day. About the need for an independent investigation team and special prosecutor — outside of Trump’s cronies, including Attorney General Jeff Sessions — to look into the matter.
