Day 352: Message to Trump: Sane People Don’t Rant and Rave That They’re Sane

The smartest person in the room rarely let’s everyone know it. The strongest person in the room rarely flexes their muscles. The pretenders, they’re the loudest and the ones showing everyone their biceps.

The confident ones are the quietest ones.

That, too, apparently goes for sanity.

People that are stable don’t have to scream that they are stable. The sane ones aren’t the ones yelling, “I’m not crazy, you’re crazy.”

The ever-growing concern about Donald Trump’s mental fitness seems to have finally caught up with him.

Hoax? Not exactly. Four Trump surrogates have been indicted already, and two have pleaded guilty. The investigation is not only far from over, it has already bore fruit.

On top of that, Ronald Reagan may not be the one Trump wants to invoke. His own son believed Reagan suffered from Alzheimer’s during his presidency, writing, “The question, then, of whether my father suffered from the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s while in office more or less answers itself.”

Trump thinks winning an election makes him a genius, which is, of course, illogical. Plenty of dopes have won elections. Many politicians struggle to string together sentences and fail to understand the very bills they vote on. Winning an election and calling yourself a genius is like sitting in the ninth row of plane and calling yourself a pilot.

“The only thing to fear is, fear itself.” — Franklin D. Roosevelt

“My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” — John F. Kennedy

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.” — Abraham Lincoln

“Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart.” — Donald J. Trump
