Day 35: All of Donald Trump’s Words About Quebec City Terrorist Attack
Six people were killed and 19 more injured on January 29, 2017 in Quebec City in Canada. The dead including civil servants, a professor, a small business owner and a pharmacy worker. They were part of the make-up of Quebec society.
The victims were praying peacefully on a Sunday.
They were also Muslims.
The terrorist was a far-right, white nationalist who professed anti-Muslim and pro-Donald Trump rhetoric.
There seems to be an absurd hesitancy by many to call attacks by non-Muslims as “terrorism”. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did not fall into such a trap, immediately stating, “We condemn this terrorist attack on Muslims in a center of worship and refuge.” He added, “Muslim-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric, and these senseless acts have no place in our communities, cities and country.”
Many foreign leaders have condemned the attacks.
It has been 25 days since the shooting, and below we’ve published below every word Donald Trump has uttered condemning or even commenting on the terrorist attack on the soil of one of America’s staunchest allies:
