Day 346: Trump Can’t Decide if the Media Loves Him or Hates Him

In just a few days, Donald Trump has flip-flopped on whether the press likes him or hates him.

A week ago, in typically Trump fashion, he claimed the press refused to talk about how much support he enjoys.

A few days ago, however, he proclaimed the media needed him now, would really love him soon, and they would go so far as to help him win reelection.

Another reason that I’m going to win another four years is because newspapers, television, all forms of media will tank if I’m not there. Because without me, their ratings are going down the tubes. Without me, The New York Times will indeed be not the failing New York Times, but the failed New York Times. So they basically have to let me win. And eventually, probably six months before the election, they’ll be loving me because they’re saying, “Please, please, don’t lose Donald Trump.”

Yesterday, the media were characterized as dishonest liars.

According to Trump, does the media help or hurt him? Do they lie about him or for him? Depends which side of the bed he wakes up on.
