Day 308: It Sure Looks Like Donald Trump Just Admitted to Being a Racist

It’s Thanksgiving. It’s supposed to be a day to come together with friends and family. To run a turkey trot. To watch parades. Or football. Or dog shows.

Did Donald Trump take the moment to admit he’s a racist? It sure looks like it.

Greg Sargent, a writer with The Washington Post, tweeted out his most recent piece, entitled “Trump just rage-tweeted about a prominent African American again.” His tweet notes that Trump’s behavior continues to feed his supporters’ belief that the system is rigged for minorities.

Despite not being tagged in the tweet, and his general avoidance of responding to specific tweets, Trump couldn’t help himself.

A writer says Trump’s rage tweets are part of an ugly pattern against minorities → Trump responds “MAGA!”

There aren’t many conclusions that one could draw from Trump’s response, other than Trump agrees with the writer’s premise.

Many have argued that “Make America Great Again” was a dog whistle for “Make America White Again.”

Trump seems to have confirmed that today.
