Day 297: Kim Jong-un calls Trump a ‘lunatic old man’; Trump only upset about being called old

For Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump is it international diplomacy or middle school?

According to North Korean officials, Kim called Trump a “lunatic old man” earlier in the week, which, of course, got back to Trump.

Trump — in maybe his Mona Lisa of tweets — responded in a way that only he could.

Trump, who is 71, took offense to the “old” but not the “lunatic” characteristic.

Trump then adds the classic insult-without-insult that is a staple of every child. (For the record, Trump has never tried to be friends or even have any sort of dialogue with Kim or his regime. Insulting someone on Twitter does not appear the most logical way in having that happen one day. On top of that, a few months ago, Trump publicly insulted his own secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, for trying to initiate a North Korea conversation.)

We’re about six months from Trump holding his finger an inch from someone’s face yelling, “I’m not touching you! I’m not touching you!”
