Day -29: Misogynists Celebrate Kellyanne Conway Appointment

Donald Trump selected his former campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, to serve as Counselor to the President.

Trump’s transition team noted, without a tinge of irony, that Conway “shattered the glass ceiling” over the past year.

You know, this from the campaign whose leader has had numerous sexual assault allegations tossed his way, said Carly Fiorina wouldn’t win because she was ugly, consistently made stereotypical comments about women’s roles in the home, consistently gives women a numerical rating based on physical appearance, accused Megyn Kelly of menstruating to explain the tone of her voice and a bevy of other awful things.

Trump’s supporters are also happy about Conway’s new role. You remember the crew that consistently referred to Hillary Clinton as a “bitch” or worse. As The Atlantic noted, sexism was in full force during the RNC, with tons of misogynistic merchandise on display.
