Day 256: Trump Dedicates Golf Victory to Hurricane Victims in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico

Donald Trump was on hand at the President’s Cup this weekend, a golf tournament pitting some of the best American golfers against some of the best non-European international golfers. Trump admitted he was transfixed watching the event for days as the Americans ran away with the competition.

Speaking afterwards, Trump decided to dedicate the Americans’ victory to those afflicted by various hurricanes in the past few weeks.

Sure, Americans affected by natural disasters badly need federal aid right now — especially in Puerto Rico — and a leader willing to do everything necessary to make that happen, but dedicating a chunk of metal to those citizens is a nice consolation prize if you think about it.
