Day 222: Trump Pardoned Arpaio With Deadly Hurricane Bearing Down For TV Ratings

As he continues to lack any sense of decorum, empathy or awareness, Donald Trump said yesterday he pardoned formed Maricopa County sheriff Joe Arpaio as Hurricane Harvey was bearing down on Texas because it would get better ratings from people following news about the storm on television.

Yes, Trump is claiming that he timed the pardon of a racist, law-breaking former sheriff with a violent, deadly storm because of television numbers. He’s apparently upset that a storm that has killed at least nine and caused billions of dollars in damage didn’t do more to help promote his political news.
