Day -19: Start of 2017: We Still Have a Republic

It’s 2017. It’s just 19 days until Donald Trump becomes leader of the free world.

We still have a republic.

We are a heterogeneous and incredible nation. We will not stand silently as our rights our trampled on. We will hold Donald Trump to defend and uphold the Constitution. We will denounce hate every time it leaves the lips of our soon-to-be-president.

We are still the United States of America, no matter how divisive the voice leading us continues to be.
