NBC News has been keeping the Donald Trump golf tracker dialed in over the last six months, despite the White House often concealing Trump’s whereabouts and activities.

That number hit 41 yesterday.

It rained, presumably hindering his ability to play a full round. Tough break. The good news for Trump is the weather cleared today so that he could hit his 42nd appearance at a golf property.

That brings Trump has now spent 23 percent of his days in office at one of his golf properties.

What’s wrong with some R&R, though?

“If I were in the White House…I don’t think I’d ever see many of the places that I have. I don’t ever think I’d see anything. I just want to stay in the White House, and work my ass off, make great deals, right? Who’s going to leave? Who’s going to leave?” — Donald J. Trump, February 2016

“Because I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go play golf. Believe me, folks.” — Donald J. Trump, August 2016.

Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Trump has accomplished virtually nothing of real significance while finding time to play six full weeks worth golf. He’s hitting the links twice this weekend, perhaps to forget the disaster of a week that sent him panicking.

185 days in, 1277 to go
