Day 170: Two Photos from G-20 Show the New America

Donald Trump is clearly out of place at the global summit.

Donald Trump is at the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany. Things are going poorly. They have for a couple of days, actually. For instance, Russian president Vladimir Putin and Trump disagree on what was said in their private meeting with regard to the 2016 election and Russia’s involvement with hacking it.

Trump was also one of the few leaders to not take any questions at a press conference.

The two photos below sum up how well things are going for the United States at the moment. (The photo at the top of this article, with Trump pushed to the fringes of the group, is also indicative, though that positioning of the leaders is based on seniority.)

Trump is totally out of place in every sense of the word. When he’s physically there, he’s a turtle retreating into his shell. He’s irrelevant and ignored. When he’s not physically there, Ivanka Trump gets to pretend to be president.
