Day 119: Trump’s Yapper Spews More Garbage

Yesterday, Donald Trump claimed no politician in American history has been treated more unfairly than he has. At a Coast Guard graduation. To young men and women who will risk their lives to keep American safe.

Think about how dumb these words are, even if said at another venue.

William McKinley was assassinated. Lincoln too. James Garfield as well. Kennedy publicly. Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan were shot and lived. Those are just the presidents. Gabby Giffords was nearly killed less than seven years ago.

Putting violence aside, Bill Clinton was impeached over a private sexual action.

And let’s not forget what Trump said about Barack Obama.

Trump has proven again and again he would do far better keeping his mouth shut than running it. His lack of historical perspective is not only embarrassing, it’s absurd.
