Day 108: Trump asks media to look into Democrats while FBI investigates him
Sunday morning Donald Trump tweeted:
While Trump is worried about what’s on cable news — no surprise there, really — he’s asking the media to ask questions about Democrats’ dealings with Russia. What he’s even insinuating there is really anyone’s guess. Does he believe Democrats hacked themselves and sabotaged their own presidential nominee?
On the other hand, regardless of what news, fakes news, media, crooked media or anyone else is reporting, Donald Trump and his team are being investigated by the FBI for their Russia connections surrounding election hacking and collusion with a foreign government.
Simply put, Donald Trump and company are being investigated for crimes up to and including treason.
As a reminder:
- Former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn has been ousted for his Russia connections, lying about them and is now seeking immunity.
- Former campaign chairman and someone with many shady ties to Russia, Paul Manafort, was categorized by the Trump team last month as having a limited role with the campaign.
- Longtime Trump friend and former campaign adviser Roger Stone openly admitted to communicating with the Russian hacker who infiltrated the DNC.
- Former foreign policy adviser Carter Page allegedly met with a Russian spy on numerous occasions.
- Attorney General Jeff Sessions somehow “forgot” about meeting the Russian ambassador twice during the campaign, including once right before the Trump team changed their official platform on Russia during his testimony to Congress.
- Son-in-law Jared Kushner met with the chairman of a Russian state-run development bank, currently under U.S. sanctions. The chairman was appointed to job directly by President Vladimir Putin.
- Major Trump donor, Erik Prince, who founded the former government security contractor Blackwater allegedly organized a secret meeting in the Seychelles with Russian officials to look into whether establishing a back-channel between the U.S. and Russia was possible.
These are just the names and details published in the fake news. It’s highly likely the FBI knows more. A lot more.
Trump had top-level guys and family meeting often with prominent Russians before he took office. Then, he tabbed an unqualified, longtime friend of Russia and Putin, Rex Tillerson, to be secretary of state.
But, yeah, sure, the media should investigate the Democrats for their Russia ties.
