For the second day in a row, Donald Trump’s team added a note to his daily schedule: “During the Holiday [sic] season, President Trump will continue to work tirelessly for the American People [sic]. His schedule includes many meetings and calls.”

For the second day in a row, there was evidence of neither meetings nor calls.

For the second day in a row, Trump was actually playing golf.

Trump never put much effort into the job of president, eschewing work in favor of literally anything else. He has visited one of his own golf courses more than 300 times and one of his own properties more than 400 times during his 1,436 days in office.

But since his election loss, Trump has given up any and all pretense of even trying to appear that he is putting effort into the job of president. Americans are suffering from COVID-19 from a health-wise and financially. The incoming Joe Biden administration is trying to ease their transition into office. A “deliberate bomb” exploded in Nashville, Tennessee, a possible act of terrorism.

Trump couldn’t care less about even pretending to care. So he’ll continue to play golf and tweet baseless claims about election fraud until January 20.
