Day 1,430: Trump turns Russia cyberattack into pity party about election loss

Donald Trump is facing bipartisan heat for saying nothing about a dangerous cvberattack that has affected numerous critical federal agencies, including the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security, the Treasury Department and the Commerce Department.

The attack has been confirmed as coming from Russia by Trump’s Secretary of State.

But Trump has shrugged off the attack as being blown out of proportion by the media and possibly coming from China. Trump did, however, make it about himself by baselessly claiming that it could have affected voting machines.

Trump’s false election claims have been debunked again and again. He lost. He’s leaving office next month. The election has been certified for Joe Biden.

The cyberattacks mark another instance where Trump has refused to rebuke Moscow for anything, while also making everything about himself. American interests and safety are always tertiary considerations.
