Day 1,407: Trump celebrates Thanksgiving by continuing to baselessly allege voter fraud

As Americans celebrated predominately socially distanced, smaller or solo Thanksgivings, Donald Trump couldn’t find much to be thankful for.

So he tweeted, for hours, still without a shred of evidence, about the 2020 election that he lost to Joe Biden being rigged.

His first tweet of the day had nothing to do with Thanksgiving, or the coronavirus, or anything else of national importance. It was a baseless allegation about it being impossible for Biden to have hit 80,000,000 votes.

Twelve hours later, with plenty more in between, nothing had changed.

Trump was apparently upset that most headlines regarding his Thursday press conference, held at a laughably small desk, was that Trump would concede the election and leave the White House if the Electoral College affirms Biden’s win.

Trump’s legal challenges have mostly been exhausted and he has failed to garner any significant wins in the three-plus weeks since the election.

The Electoral College process has already begun. On January 20, 2021, Biden will be sworn into office.
