Day 1,362: Desperate Trump tweets over 100 times, lying about major issues that he has failed on for years

With Election Day just 22 days away, Donald Trump is desperate to rewrite history. In an angry string of Monday tweets, Trump mashed the send button over 100 times.

Seeing the writing on the wall as to what matters most to voters, Trump is trying to claim positions he has never taken.

Less than a week ago he personally killed a stimulus deal that would have given much needed economic relief to Americans and businesses suffering from the effects of COVID-19. Amid backlash from Americans and even politicians in his own party, he’s now pretending to try to get one done.

The Trump administration is currently supporting a challenge to the Affordable Care Act that the Supreme Court is set to hear next month. If they gets their way, the ACA will be wholesale eliminated. Yet Trump and the GOP have claimed, without evidence, that they have plan that will (among other things) protect Americans with pre-existing conditions, a claim Trump made again Monday in all caps. Trump has been in office for four years and the ACA was passed a decade ago and Republicans have never produced any semblance of a plan.

For years, Trump has tried to cut Social Security and Medicare benefits. On Twitter, he falsely tried to make that Joe Biden’s position.

COVID-19, healthcare, entitlements: these are the issues that matter most to Americans. And despite his tweets, those are among the many issues that Trump has totally failed to produce any substantive achievements on.
