Less than a month from the 2020 election that sees Donald Trump trailing Joe Biden in virtually major poll, most politicians would be trying to shore up support from middle-class Americans.

Instead, Trump seems like he is actively trying to alienate them.

Monday, with the nation still reeling from COVID-19, a maskless and gasping Trump staged a photo-op at the White House a day after intentionally exposing his Secret Service detail and staff to the virus.

Tuesday, set to up the ante on total tone-deafness and stupidity, Trump announced that he was personally calling off negotiations relating to getting trillions of dollars worth of desperately needed stimulus funds in the hands of Americans.

The decision was panned by virtually everyone and the stock market immediately tanked.

As heartless a decision it was, politically it was atrocious. Trump is ill-equipped to negotiate, the past four years destroying any semblance of him being a true dealmaker, so he took his ball and went home.

Seeing the swift public reaction, fooling no one, Trump tried to walk back his tweets hours later.
