Day 1,342: Trump, among plenty of other unhinged and false ramblings: protesters are throwing cans of Bumble Bee tuna and Goya beans at cops
More than five years after he first announced he was running for president, Donald Trump’s rallies continue to be strange and full of lies and unhinged screeds.
Tuesday, that manifested again at a rally in Pittsburgh, full of supporters with few masks in sight. Trump railed against protesters fighting for equality and criminal justice reform throughout the U.S. Riling up the crowd, Trump shouted, “They go out and buy tuna fish and soup. You know that, right? Goya, I hope! … Because they throw it, they throw it, it’s the perfect weight — tuna fish. They can really rip it, right? And that hits you. No, it’s true. Bumble Bee brand tuna.”
There is no evidence for any of Trump’s bizarre ramblings about flung tuna and beans.
Trump proceeded to howl other dangerous and unhinged rhetoric, while a crowd of supporters ate it up.
Attendees flock to hear Trump like fans showing up to an aging rock band’s concert where they play the same songs for years.
Election night is exactly six weeks away, and a number of states have already begun early voting.
