Day 1,326: Trump plays more golf and alleges nutty multifaceted political/media/tech conspiracy against him

Donald Trump’s golf habit continues to exist in the face of a pandemic. One day after extending his streak to 13th straight weeks at one of his private golf clubs — keeping his attendance at such places at more than 22% of his post-inauguration days — Trump went back again Sunday. It’s his 296th visit in just 1,326 days in office.

Later Sunday, Trump alleged, without evidence, as usual, a wild conspiracy against him. Trump claimed an intentional “Disinformation Campaign [sic]” exists against him, which extends to Democrats, the media and the technology industry. The alleged aim, apparently, is that Democrats plant stories with the media, who blanket publish them and use technology to further spread the story.

Trump can’t win on substantive arguments on things like his calling veterans “suckers” or “losers” considering the shear number of sources — Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, Associated Press, and even Fox News — that have confirmed The Atlantic’s reporting that he did. So knowing it’s inevitable additional negative reports will continue to come out as the election nears, he is forced to allege a ridiculous and nonsensical nationwide conspiracy involving a major political party, and two gigantic industries that are honed in against him.

The more simple and logical answer is that journalism is ethical and fact-checked, and that Trump continues to say and do horrific things in private, much like he does in public.
