Day 1,325: Trump plays golf for 13th straight week after thanking 0.0036% of veterans for supporting him
In a desperate effort to push back against the torrent of negative press surrounding Donald Trump’s frequent calling of military service members “suckers” and “losers,” Trump and his team are grasping at straws.
Late Friday, Trump touted a Breitbart article that noted “about 674 veterans” wrote a letter in support of Trump. With about 19 million veterans in the country, Trump is gleefully sharing a letter signed by 0.0036% of the total number of veterans in the country.
For perspective, that would be like saying the 12,000-person population of Clawson, Michigan or 15% of AT&T Stadium, where the Dallas Cowboys play, is representative of the entire U.S.
Saturday, trying to ignore the continuing uproar, and apparently finding nothing to do on a pandemic that has killed 188,000 Americans, Trump played golf for the 13th straight week.
Trump continues to keep high his absurd rate of visiting his golf properties, which currently stands at over 22% of his days in office. Taking into account all of his properties, Trump has been at a property with his name slapped on the building on over 30% of his days in office.
