Day 1,322: Desperate Trump suggests his supporters illegally vote twice

Donald Trump has continued to claim, without evidence, that mail-in voting allows for widespread fraud. This despite the fact that Trump, many of his top advisors and family all routinely vote by mail.

Now, with two months until the election a desperate Trump is imploring voters to illegally cast ballots both by mail and in person.

Trump encouraged his North Carolina supporters to, “Send [mail-in ballots] in, but you go to vote [too].”

The attorney general, one of Trump’s biggest lapdogs, shamelessly defended Trump, claiming he “[didn’t] know” if various states allowed residents to vote twice. [Every state in the union allows for a single vote per person per election.]

Trump’s open push for voter fraud is yet another antidemocratic position that he has taken as it relates to voting and the 2020 election.
