Day 1,312: Trump during 11th straight weekend at private golf club: ‘Happy Sunday! We want GOD!’

Donald Trump went to his private golf club in Virginia on Sunday, the 11th straight weekend he has visited one such establishment. He has now spent 22 of the past 77 days at one of his own golf clubs.

Trump marked the occasion by tweeting, “Happy Sunday! We want GOD!” nine minutes after arriving.

The U.S. is rapidly approaching 200,000 deaths from COVID-19, which most of Trump’s supporters find acceptable. Meanwhile, Trump has used religion is the most nefarious and pandering of ways over the past few years, despite having no knowledge or respect toward the topic.

Nothing is as on-brand as Trump invoking religion from the clubhouse of his private golf club while tens of millions of Americans are suffering from medical and economic uncertainty.
