Donald Trump’s golf habit is well documented. As is his rampant grifting. And abject laziness.

While the number of Americans infected with COVID-19 has soared past 5.2 million, and claimed the lives of 170,000 people, Trump continues to have his “let them eat cake” moment, with the golf, grifting and laziness overlapping to form a collective shoulder shrug.

Over each of the past 10 weekends, Trump has spent time at one of his private golf clubs, spending at least two days there on nine such weekends.

Over the past 66 days, Trump has spent a whopping 21 days at his private golf clubs.

Furloughed and laid off workers are desperate for relief. Business owners are struggling to figure out how to keep their doors open. Americans everywhere are exposed to a deadly virus that has largely been stamped out by America’s peers. Everyone is looking for answers and some semblance of a plan after more than six months of dealing with the coronavirus.

Trump, meanwhile, can be found with a 7-iron or buffet plate in his hand, surrounded by members of his golf club who have paid gobs of money for the privilege to laugh at his jokes.
