Day 1,226: Trump unsurprisingly treats predominately black protests differently from predominately white protests

Donald Trump is a racist.

Trump has always been a racist and will always be a racist. Stoking racial divisions in the country has been him m.o. for years and that has not changed since taking office.

It has been four days since a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota killed an unarmed black man, George Floyd, by needlessly kneeling on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

So as protests calling for justice and racial equality pop up in some parts of the country in response to the killing, it should be no surprise that Trump views protests led predominately by white people differently than he view protests led predominately by black people.

Armed white people carrying rifles into statehouses? They’re “very good people” who are told to keep fighting.

Unarmed black people demanding justice and equality in the same place Trump told white people to “liberate” six weeks ago? They’re “THUGS” who are threatened with execution.

Hell, Trump even asked the Iranian government to treat their protesters better than he wants U.S. protesters treated.

Trump and his team have tried to spin his “THUGS” tweet throughout the day, but there’s no doubt what he meant. His racist history is too clear.

While no one wants to see violence, Trump’s true focus has nothing to do with how the protests are occurring, but is based entirely on who is doing the protesting. When a handful of black NFL players were quietly kneeling during the national anthem before games, Trump and Mike Pence took a holier-than-thou attitude about it. Pence even attended a football game just so he could leave it in faux disgust, a political charade that cost taxpayers $242,500.

Now, taking cues from his boss, Pence — the biggest fraud in the White House — is claiming the total opposite.

For Trump and Pence, there’s no such thing as an acceptable protest from the black community.
