Day 1,143: As Trump administration continues to flounder with coronavirus response, Trump hits the golf course

Donald Trump’s humiliating and dangerous coronavirus response came to a head at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Friday. Trump rambled and waved about and focused on himself and money while downplaying the impacts of the disease.

By Saturday, as millions of Americans continue to follow the fallout in real-time and buy Purell by the bushel, Trump figured he would lead. The way to his golf course in South Florida, that is.

The visit continued Trump’s trend to play as much golf on the taxpayer dime as possible, no matter the circumstances in the country or world.

Trump has played golf on 23% of his days in office and visited one of his properties on 31% of his days in office.
