Day 1,109: Trump congratulates Kansas City Chiefs of ‘Kansas’ — instead of Missouri — for winning Super Bowl
Donald Trump claims to be incredibly intelligent, despite the fact that he has threatened his former educational institutions with litigation if they release his grades. He claims to have the “best words” despite speaking at a fourth grade level.
Sunday, the “very stable genius” tweeted his congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs for winning Super Bowl LIV. Except, he thought that the largest city in Missouri was actually somewhere else, despite having been there barely a year ago. Trump told the team, “You represented the Great State of Kansas, and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well.”
Ironically, recently, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tried to embarrass an NPR reporter by insisting she point out Ukraine on a blank map. The reporter, Mary Louise Kelly, had no difficulty with the task, in large part because she has a master’s degree in European studies from Cambridge University and has worked the national security beat for years.
If Pompeo has any blank maps of the U.S. lying around, however, maybe he can interrupt his boss on the golf course for a pop quiz.
