Day 1,084: Slurring and snorting: Trump continues to look and sound profoundly unhealthy

Donald Trump addressed the nation Wednesday — an event that was postponed from Tuesday, for unknown reasons — to speak about Iran’s attacks on Iraqi bases where U.S. troops are stationed.

He lied many, many times, of course.

But he also looked and sounded profoundly ill, after showing up nearly 30 minutes late for his appearance. Struggling mightily — even by his own standards — to read the teleprompter, he slurred and sniffed his way through the entire nine-minute speech.

(That would be a sniff roughly every nine seconds.)

Less that eight weeks ago, Trump was rushed to Walter Reed National Medical Center for an ailment that was never properly explained. The White House claimed that the trip was part of a “routine physical,” but that didn’t pass them smell test for a litany of reasons.

Trump doesn’t look healthy.

Trump doesn’t sound healthy.

Trump doesn’t act healthy.

Apparently everyone is content to ignore the duck in the room.
