Stephanie Grisham took over the job of White House Press Secretary on July 1, over five months ago.

Since then, she has basically done three things: allowed Donald Trump to do her job on Twitter, tell a whole bunch of lies, and retreat to Fox News and other right-wing outlets for her rare public appearances.

To wit:

  • Trump is tweeting more than ever, including over 100 times on Sunday alone.
  • Grisham’s lies are crazy, even in an administration that employed Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders. She alleged that Obama administration officials left nasty notes as part of the transition after the 2016 election, something not backed up by any evidence and vociferously denied by Obama officials. She’s also tweeting garbage too, like this whopper today, where she enjoys the benefit of avoiding hard-hitting fact-checking questions to her face.

Despite Trump’s claim that he only hires the best people — laughable considering who has been hired and forced out and who is still on staff — Grisham has quite the checkered past.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham had a “turbulent ascent” to her current role, according to a New York Times report, which included two arrests for driving under the influence — one of which while working for Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Grisham reportedly left AAA after facing allegations of filing false claims for travel and other expenses and lost the job at Mindspace for plagiarism.

After more than five months at a job that pays her nearly $200,000 per year, Grisham has yet to take the podium in the briefing room and do one of the most important jobs that taxpayers are paying her for: answering questions from the press.

The score is currently DUI arrests 2, press briefings 0.
