Day 1,007: Trump claims Colorado — nearly 400 miles from southern border — is a getting a wall

Donald Trump spoke at a shale conference in Pittsburgh and tried to turn it into a campaign rally. He lied about things big and small and strange, as is quite typical.

And then he veered directly into “maybe someone should get him some medical attention” mode. Trump claimed that the U.S. is “building a wall in Colorado” to keep Mexican migrants from entering the country. In his typical bizarre rhetoric, he claimed it will be “beautiful” and a “big one that really works.”

Trump is referring to the same Colorado that is nearly 400 miles from the southern border. They aren’t getting a wall, despite the Pennsylvanians behind Trump cheering in delight over the prospect.

The truth is, Trump hasn’t built even a single mile of wall in a place where a barrier didn’t already exist.

Grossly incompetent, senile or somewhere in between, it’s amazing Trump is still on office.
